”When We Dead Awaken” in 1899. The drama is about going through life as “a living dead” and waking up late and discovering what has been wasted. However, they woke up and got a few breaths of life.
It reminds me a little of our journey on our beautiful Planet in these times. We are at the end of man’s ”material profit and consumption party”- period, and I am full of hope, that we will wake up – before we die – in a quantum leap of consciousness to a new and enjoyable world. Something must die for something else to happen, and thus nothing is wasted… ..when we wake up.
Let’s dive into exciting aspects of life and death.
Every death is, in its essence, holy and peaceful. Death is a transition.
Here are my inspirations from Dr. Zach:
If we do not reconnect with nature, we will simply destroy the earth.
We have come far way from the Natural Cycle of Life: Birth, Life and Death. Death has become sterile and most often occurs in the hospital, in severe cases in intensive care units, where patients are intubated handled by caregivers, or take place in movies and on TV. The distance to death has made it defined as final, as an end point. In his many years with patients, Zach experiences death as a massive expansion of consciousness, of reality, of space, and ultimately of love.
He recalls a workshift in which he brought back three patients in all ages, an elderly priest, a middle-aged man and a young boy. After they came back to life, they asked him: “Why did you bring me back?” They told the same story of white light, sense of expansion and that they felt completely accepted for the first time in their lives!
These are quite exciting stories. The moment we move on, we are embraced by – and in – universal love, we are enough, we are completely accepted.
Here on earth we kill ourselves, but what if we need death and the moment of death to transform us? To let go of preconceived opinions about what it is like to be human?
We have the possibility of rebirth because death is not an end point, it is a transformation, an extension beyond the limits of our biological sheaths.
If we transform BEFORE we die, then we will treat life completely differently. We will live in recognition that we are, who we are. We will look each other in the eyes, I am me, you are you and we are completely accepted. We live, and we live with 7 billion people, who showed up right now. There is sufficient energy and food for everyone if we approach it completely differently. We need to reinvent everything. We are all creative wizards, and especially the young people. Thanks to Zach for the life-giving inspiration of death.
Transformation can happen just before we die. “When We Dead Awaken” – and discover that we are much more than the physical stuff, we are light and love, and we carry optimism and hope, we are the new world, we are the ones we have been waiting for.
I am simply so proud and humbled to live in this amazing time of awakening – in the midst of the quantum leap of consciousness.
