Perhaps you can remember an infrared heat lamp used in winter for sore throats, sinusitis, muscle and joint pain? This is a “near” infrared lamp. The infrared heat penetrates deep into the skin and increases blood circulation. Imagine that you can have the same effect throughout your body? With an infrared sauna you will have those whole body benefits. Infra red saunas are getting more and more popular.

An infrared sauna is in many ways very different from a traditional sauna where the room is heated by an oven. Infrared saunas have no furnace, but the body is heated directly via infrared carbon panels that emit electromagnetic waves “far from” – infrared light waves (FAR infrared rays), which create vibrations and thus heat in the body. In contrast to the traditional sauna, the temperature is 50-60 degrees, and the heat is dry. Even though the temperature is not as high as in a regular sauna, you can easily sweat in an infrared sauna. The infrared rays penetrate into the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues that are softened and the waste is eliminated from the entire body.

We are typically exposed to significantly more chemicals and toxins than we can naturally eliminate. Toxins accumulate in the body, causing hormonal disturbances, damage to the immune system and fertility and can be carcinogenic. One reason why infrared light has such remarkable results on a long list of symptoms and diseases is its ability to remove toxins, which is often the main cause of many unhealhty conditions.

Many also experience pain relief. As an extra bonus, it has been found that the infrared heat also activates the matabolism of the body, hence providing a helping hand for weight loss.

It is beautiful relaxing and de-stressing. Drink lots of water to make sure the body gets support in releasing waste and toxins.

By adding fresh, tasty and alkaline juices, you will boost the purification of your inner fishtank, your bioterrain. Infrared sauna can warm up muscles and tissues before or after exercise, sports, massage or can be used just before bedtime.

Support your cells and especially your connective tissue, which is a huge space for parking waste materials in the body.

There are several types of infrared saunas. The most common is a sauna cabin where one or more people can sit, a lying tunnel-shaped single-person sauna and a portable single-person sauna to sit or lie in. It is clearly a good idea to have a sauna for home treatment.

Vitafakta Health Clinic starts the year with a “Boost your Bioterrain” -program, with alkalising food, tasty and nourishing juices, infrared single-person sauna, vibrational trainer followed by massage. Come to the clinic and get your individual program.
